I remember going to the Library of Congress website, or whatever website that gives out the 'ISBN' numbers, and searching out AC Bhaktivedanta Swami. It stated that the books of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami have been compromised, or changed, indicating that they're no longer the same books and implying that changing an author's works after his passing is uncommon and bizarre.

How irreverent, to refer to Srila Prabhupada's original Bhagavad-gita in this most demeaning manner, as the "planet of the trees" edition.
Your servant,
Locanananda dasa
P.S. And dandavats.com refused to post my comment.

See the table below for the number changed in each chapter.
How many Bhagavad-gita As It Is verses were changed in the 1983 revised edition? Over three-fourths of them, 77% or 541 verses were changed out of 700 total.
Srila Prabhupada's 1972 Bhagavad-gita As It Is, published by Macmillan Company, was compared with the BBT revision, first published in 1983. Only the verses were examined.
