I applaud the stance taken by Sriman Satyahit prabhu’s wife and am sorry she could not secure an “original” copy, as was asked. It is beyond shameful and offensive, changing the thoughts and words of our beloved and great acharya, Srila Prabhupada’s books. Here’s a quote from Caitanya-caritamrta Adi lila, ch.2, text 86, where Srila Prabhupada states:

Upon viewing some of the current renderings of recreated events in an article posted on the Sun, "Faith is Blind and Ignorance is Bliss", it would be most appreciated and fair if the Sun readers would also consider something positive in memory of my dad, Hayagriva.

Axiom One: The books of Srila Prabhupada, in their originally published form, are sufficient in themselves for the attainment of the spiritual perfection of pure devotional service.

1. No current day editorial changes or so-called improvements are necessary.

I recently reviewed the upgrade for the Vedabase Folio.  Following this letter are portions of the introductory material written by Jayadvaita that is included with the Folio.  His introduction reveals much about the way he approaches Srila Prabhupada's words.  That this introduction is included in the folio is disturbing.
