What is BBTI? Is there a difference between BBT and BBTI?

When I send a check to BBT at its Los Angeles address, where does it go?

BBTI is an independent non-profit corporation registered in California, USA in 1988.

The check addressed to BBT, is submitted in an account of BBP or Bhaktivedanta Book Publishing Inc. BBP is not the same as BBT. But it is claiming to do business as BBT, and that is how it is able to grab the checks addressed to BBT and put it in an account of BBP.
